What Lush says:
Our solid Sugar Scrub is tough in cellulite and unwanted bumps, but kind on your skin. It's no nonsense attitude doesn't waste any time getting down to business; sweetly exfoliating with Fair Trade sugar and simulating circulation with fennel and ginger. It's not all rough though; calming lavender has a balancing effect and encourages healthier skin. Get yourself wet in the bath or shower (but don't let the bar get under the running water). Scrub, scrub, scrub and rinse away! You'll be left with smoother, cleaner and radiant skin. Water you waiting for? Get scrubbing!

My Experience:
I love hoarding body scrubs. I have been using scrubs for many years and have derived a conclusion that any good body scrub is one which gently exfoliates your skin and does not rip off its moisture.
Therefore I decided to put this product to test.
There are a lot of unwanted bumps on my body all thanks to my extremely sensitive skin. Once in the shower I gently massage the Sugar Scrub bar all over my body down to the heels.
A word of caution: one must use extremely light hands while working with this for if force is applied it can turn into extreme torture. A safe tip would be to use the flat end of the scrub on the heels first before moving upwards on the rest of the body.
It does exfoliate really well - but let's not expect wonders. You must make sure to keep it away from running water or else you will have to bid farewell to your scrub in the very first wash.
As with all Lush provides this too has a nice aroma - a combination of sugar and ginger.
Make sure to store the wet scrub post usage in a dry place.
It doesn't strip the body of its moisture and leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated and squeaky clean.
So, do I recommend it?
Maybe - if you love collecting scrubs. But Lush has gentler ones available with better storage options so why not invest in a tub?
